Hi and welcome to My Cape Town ! In this blog I will give you my two cents worth on everything related to Cape Town and the Western Cape. I will relate my own experiences as well as some of my friends and family’s experiences in the “mother” city.
Who am I ?
Well, I recently moved to Cape Town, being a long time resident of Johannesburg. This region has captured my imagination and has opened up a whole new world of possibilities to me. I came here looking for work, and found paradise ! We try and use every moment that we have free to explore this wonderful city and it’s surrounding areas. It is so vast with so many possibilities, one lifetime will not be enough.
What is this blog about ?
I will write about my own experience being a tourist in Cape Town. Even though I stay here, I feel like a tourist, experiencing something new each and every day I live here. Cape Town and the Western Cape is full of activities to do, sites to see, food to eat and wine to enjoy.

I will write about the people and the places – covering food, wine, hotels and even extreme events like Shark Cage Diving ! I want to offer anyone coming here some useful information to allow them to have a similar experience to mine. I will divulge information like:

You only have to come to Cape Town once to fall in love with this awesome place. It has everything a tourist and explorer will ever need. It has the views, the sites, the food, wine, music and the friendly people – all packaged in an unforgettable time to remember forever.
I have lived in many cities accross South Africa, but Cape Town is by far the best place and quality of life for me. If you crave culture and quality of life, this is the place to be. Come for a holiday, a visit or make the ultimate decision and settle down here. Euros and Dollars buy a lot in Cape Town and your kids will love you for it.
